Tamara Diederichs-Tivey

My deep appreciation for nature and a
strong creative vision guides my art-making process.  Each medium I work in is inspired by nature, unfolding organically, and results in creations that feel authentic and deeply connected to the natural world.
Nature offers an endless array of sights, sounds, textures, and colors that
ignite my creativity.  

My use of different materials, such as
stone, metal, beeswax, paper, natural pigments, pastels and oil sticks adds an
element of texture, color and depth.  Incorporating elements from the natural
world into my work not only adds visual richness but also allows viewers to
experience a sense of wonder and reverence for the beauty that surrounds us.

My artistic process is driven by a
sense of wonder, a healthy dose of courage and a desire to create art that is
both meaningful and beautiful.
